Segment Chat turns your segmentation study into an interactive, always-on resource.

Instead of revisiting a static report or asking the Insights team for follow-ups, you can now explore your segments through a conversational interface—powered by AI and grounded in your study data.


What is Segment Chat?

Segment Chat is an AI-powered chatbot built into Dig One that brings your segmentation personas to life.

After uploading a completed segmentation study, Segment Chat generates AI personas based on your segments. You can then ask questions, test ideas, and explore differences between segments in real time.

Every response is backed by your study data, with clear source references included.


How it Works

Segment Chat is available after your segmentation study has been completed and prepared by the Dig team.

  1. Study setup
    The Dig team uploads your finalized segmentation study and supporting data into Dig One.
    This step is managed by Dig and is not something clients upload directly.

  2. Persona generation
    Once uploaded, Segment Chat generates up to 10 AI personas based on the segments in your study.

  3. Explore your segments
    You can then:

    • Chat with individual personas

    • Switch between segments during a conversation

    • Explore previous conversations

  4. Get grounded answers
    Every response is based on your segmentation data and includes source references for transparency.

  • Explore attitudes, behaviors, and motivations

  • Generate plain-language summaries for stakeholders

Where to find Segment Chat

Segment Chat is available within Dig One on supported segmentation studies.

To access it:

  1. Open your segmentation study

  2. Click Chat with Personas

  3. Select a persona to begin
