Using the Segment Chat Feature

Before you begin

Segment Chat is available once your segmentation study has been completed and set up by the Dig team.

This includes:

  • A finalized segmentation report (PPTX or PDF)

  • Supporting data (CSV or XLSX)

The Dig team handles uploading and configuring the study for use in Segment Chat. Once setup is complete, you’ll be able to access and interact with your personas directly in Dig One.

Using the Segment Chat

Access Segment Chat

Select the Segment Chat tab in the navigation side pane

Select a persona to start a conversation

Ask questions

You can ask questions in natural language, such as:

  • “How would this segment respond to a premium pricing strategy?”

  • “What motivates this persona most?”

  • “Which channels are best to reach them?”

Switch personas

You can change personas at any time during your session:

  • Select a different persona from the panel

  • Continue the conversation with the new perspective


Provide feedback

You can rate responses using:

  • 👍 Thumbs up

  • 👎 Thumbs down

Optionally, add feedback to help improve future responses.


Segment Chat is designed to help you quickly access and apply segmentation insights—without needing to revisit full reports.
