Dig Agents is designed to stay with you as you work throughout Dig One. Instead of starting a new conversation for every task, you can continue the same chat as you move between creating, editing, and analyzing your research.
Continue your conversation across Dig One
As you move between different areas of Dig One, your conversation with Dig Agents usually continues.
For example, you can:
Start creating a study from the Projects page.
Continue refining it after the study opens.
Return later to analyze the completed results.
This allows you to move naturally through your research workflow without having to repeat information you've already shared.
When a new conversation starts
Dig Agents starts a new conversation when you intentionally begin something new.
This can happen when you:
Start a new chat.
Open a project that isn't connected to your current conversation.
Begin a new session after returning to Dig One.
Your previous conversations remain available, so you can return to them whenever you need.
How Dig Agents uses context
Dig Agents uses context to better understand what you're asking.
For example, when you're working inside a study, Dig Agents understands the study that's currently open. If you're viewing a social report, it can use that report to answer your questions.
You can also bring additional studies or reports into a conversation by using @mentions.
If you want Dig Agents to perform a specific action, you can use / commands. For example, typing / displays the available actions you can take in your current context, such as creating content or analyzing data.
Understanding context chips
When Dig Agents uses information from a study, report, or another object, you'll see context chips attached to its response.
Context chips show exactly what Dig Agents used to answer your request. For example, if you ask Dig Agents to compare two studies, you'll see a context chip for each study that was included in the analysis.
This helps you understand where information came from and keeps you in control of what Dig Agents is using.
When Dig Agents opens another page
Most requests are completed without taking you away from your current work.
For example, Dig Agents can:
Answer questions about your research.
Analyze studies or reports.
Compare results.
Generate summaries, charts, and tables.
When an action creates a new object—such as a new study or social report—Dig Agents opens that new object so you can continue working with it.
If a request requires editing a different study or report, Dig Agents will guide you to the appropriate location before making changes.
Find a past conversation
As your conversation history grows, Dig Agents makes it easy to find a specific chat again.
Search across conversations — Search by what was actually said in a chat, not just its name. Matching text is highlighted right in the results.
Filter by study or social report — On the main Dig AI page, narrow Recent chats to a specific study or social report using a searchable, tabbed filter, and clear the filter with one click.
Sidebar follows your context — Open the sidebar while viewing a study or social report, and Recent chats automatically narrows to the conversations tied to it — no filtering needed.
Smoother long histories — Chats load as you scroll instead of all at once, with clearer loading and empty states.
Tips

Type / to see the actions available in your current context.
Check the context chips to see what Dig Agents used for each response.
Use search to quickly find a past conversation by what was said in it, or filter Recent chats to a specific study or report.
